For two days in March, the William Stukeley CofE Primary School, Holbeach was once again transformed into Stukeley University.
Over the two days, a range of ‘seminars’ are held for the children to experience and enjoy. As a Federation of schools (William Stukeley and Deeping St. Nicholas Primary School), we believe that the seminars not only open our children’s eyes to the many and varied career paths available to them, but also encourage the children to try new things and mix with new peers and staff. In addition, the seminars aim to raise pupil aspiration and promote excellent attendance and aptitude.
This year, the ‘University’ was generously supported by Ben, Alice & Harley of G Shearer & Son Butchers, Holbeach, who gave their time, enthusiasm and resources to make our ‘Becoming a Master Butcher’ seminar, one of the highlights of the two days. We are incredibly grateful to all our local partners for their ongoing support in bringing this ambitious event to life.
