Welcome to Muntjacs Class. Our teachers are Mrs Underwood and Mrs Sandalls.
This term, Muntjacs Class has embarked on an exciting journey through various subjects. In science, the children have been exploring the captivating relationship between the earth, sun, and moon. This inquiry not only sparks curiosity about our universe but also encourages critical thinking as the children ponder questions about space. The hands-on home learning projects have allowed children to apply their knowledge creatively, showcasing their understanding in innovative ways.
In design technology (DT), we have been honing their fine motor skills through practical activities like applique stitching. This not only fosters creativity but also enhances problem-solving abilities as they navigate challenges such as threading needles. Meanwhile, in religious education (RE), the focus on expressing beliefs through various forms has deepened their understanding for diverse cultures and values. Literacy has also taken centre stage with the writing of mystery stories, where the children engage their imaginations and develop narrative skills. The great mystery of the missing bell was finally solved!
