Coronavirus Update November 2020

Over the weekend, I learned that one of our local school’s was having to close its doors this week, due to the coronavirus.

That’s both sad and worrying. Currently, there’s much talk about vaccines, but at this moment, when all the statistics are rising, it’s immensely important that we all adhere to the guidance.

I’d like to thank parents and carers for the continued wearing of face-coverings and observing the one-way systems and keeping socially distant, but may I remind you of the most recent guidance:

 Social contact:

From 5 November, you must not meet socially indoors with family or friends unless they are part of your household, meaning the people you live with, or your support bubble.

You can exercise outdoors, or visit outdoor public places, with the people you live with, your support bubble, or 1 person from another household.

Meeting in larger groups is against the law apart from specific exceptions where people from different households can gather in groups.

Social distancing:

To reduce the risk of catching or spreading coronavirus, you should minimise time spent outside your home, and when around other people ensure that you are two metres apart from anyone not in your household or support bubble.

These are simple extracts; you can find the full document at:

Here’s hoping we all stay safe and well.

Kindest regards,

T W Emery
